02 Why Shepard
Your project shouldn't be bent to fit one shop's equipment. Shepard starts with the job: we match each project to the best-suited production facility in our network, so you get the right equipment, manufacturing-scale capacity, and competitive pricing and scheduling, with full accountability from first spec to final delivery.
Unusual formats, specialty finishing, inline personalization: every job runs where it runs best, with no compromise forced by one shop's equipment limits.
From test quantities to full rollouts, your project gets the capacity it needs, when it needs it.
Placing each job competitively keeps pricing sharp and gives you more scheduling options when deadlines are tight.
Shepard writes the plan, the specifications, and the quality levels, and stands behind the schedule, the delivery, and the close-out of every job.

Shepard is a customer-driven print management company and graphic arts consultant. We’re always looking for the odd-size, out-of-the-mainstream press or the little-known plant tucked away in an obscure location that gives a client the advantage.
Even companies with a full-time print production staff benefit from our experience.
03 Featured specialty
Natural gas has no smell of its own. Utilities add mercaptan so customers can recognize a leak, and a scratch-and-sniff insert in the monthly statement is one of the most direct ways to teach that smell at scale.
Shepard produces mercaptan statement enclosures for gas utilities as part of their public-awareness outreach under API RP 1162. We handle the scent coating, printing, finishing, and delivery to your statement or lettershop vendor on schedule.
